EFQM is an acronym that means: European Foundation for Quality Management. EFQM was founded in 1988 to create a platform where organizations can learn from each other to continuously improve their performance. The EFQM model of excellence is a tool that helps organizations understand the relationships between causes and effects between what the organization does (the Enablers) and the results achieved. The purpose of the project is to develop a self-assessment of the performance of an oil and gas industry organization by implementing EFQM and identify the main strengths and areas of improvement.
