The purpose of this piece of work is to study a company on the management of production processes, pursuing the beneficial effects of continuous improvement. The production process consists of a number of activities and operations that can be applied in different combinations and to achieve the desired goal, the realization of goods or services. Starting from customer orders, we were able to analyze the evolution of production / stock for the entire year using the means, layout and initial operator mode working with 10 operators. Following an analysis, we changed the layout, recalibrated the sewing machines and updated the operating mode, thus improving the cycle time, increasing the production by 90 pieces at the same time of actual work. As a result of these optimizations, the stock at the end of the year becomes excessive, leading to a reanalysis. We simulated using the initial order on the improved means this time using 9 operators, the result being the total coverage of the requirements and a minimum stock. The 10th operator being used in other projects, we brought a saving, using less electricity and a smaller layout.
