The use of the critical road method in welding technologies

Welding technology is significantly influenced by certain parameters. The paper presents the analysis of a method of optimizing the welding technology, focusing on the time parameter. To highlight the method of optimizing the welding process in welded construction, welding operations, their representation and related time were studied using the critical road method. It was possible to conclude from theoretical research and calculations that the way in which operations are carried out and the dependencies between them significantly influence the process. Critical activities and how they can be optimized have also been identified.
