The prototype of the vein detector can be used to facilitate the identification of veins for various medical purposes. The procedure is a reliable one, without contact but also difficult to interpret the data. In order for this to be achieved, a video camera and a series of connected UV LEDs are used to capture the image that will be processed in the software application.
