The cell made in this project is part of a complex system of automation of the process of making and decorating round cakes. Normally these processes are carried out mainly manually, by human operators, using various tools, shapes and complexity of the products obtained with truly perfect levels. However, by automation both the quality and the production time can be definitely improved. In this application were integrated 4 robots with articulated arm type architecture with 6 degrees of freedom, generally intended for welding operations. For orientation movements, degrees of freedom 4 5-6 parameterized roll-pitch-roll are available, all torques being driven by an electric servomotor.
