The theme chosen for the project has as main purpose the modeling of the component parts of a robotic arm using additive manufacturing methods, such as 3D printing, which can then be used in several fields of activity such as production, research and even in the field of medicine. The first part of the project consists in modeling the component parts of the robotic arm and preparing them for the 3D printing process. The second part of the project is represented by the actual printing of the components of the robotic arm. The printer chosen is one for with a printing area of 220x220x250 mm. It is equipped with a printing tip with a diameter of 0.2 mm that can be heated up to 255⁰C, the maximum temperature of the printing bed being 110⁰C. The material chosen is PLA with a diameter of 1.75 mm. It can be found in different patterns and colors, and the temperature of the print tip should be approximately between 180⁰C and 220⁰C.
