Over time, humanity has tried to improve their standard of living by implementing innovative solutions, preferably autonomous. In the last century, the robotization of processes, both industrial and common, has taken on a large scale due to technological progress in the field of electronics. There are more and more common mechatronic systems that perform multiple functions at the same time meant to make our lives easier. This is also the purpose of this project, namely the introduction of a robot capable of moving on rough terrain with the help of an adaptive wheel system. By rugged terrain, in this project, we mean a snow-covered terrain that has properties: it is slippery, and the snow layer prevents the determination of the distance between the robot and the solid ground
