Diabetes is an endocrinological disorder which affects the levels of blood sugar in the human body. The complications of this illness are often severe, the patient may lose parts of the body such as members or fingers because of diabetic gangrene. In this project of scientific research I chose to approach a prophylaxis metod which prevents the issues of gangrene. The metod I detailed is a product that incorporates a smart device that measures the extremity temperature and humidity and informs the bearer about his condition before it is too late. I analysed some other devices that could and should be integrated in the life of people suffering from diabetes and which, could in turn provide a quality of life improvement in long term usage, furthermore the reaserch paper takes into accound economical and social aspects of the diesease such as the monthly cost of managing a diabetic patient and the psychological impact the disease has in the life of the individual, I also did a poll on a restricted sample.
