Nowadays the unmanned aerial vehicles are employed on a large scale, from military to industry implementations, from battlefields to smaller units that people may be play outdoor. The military industry drones recorded an exponentially growth worldwide since ’90s. They are used in missions that are dangerous for humans and can stay in the air for a large period of time. The UAVs have a complex cross-section shape of the fuselage. This paper explores the aerodynamic consequences of its shape, at the operational flight ceiling, in a comparative approach, using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
