The choice of the theme “Research on the development of software applications for AS / RS platform control” is supported by the work I have carried out within the Intralogistics laboratory. Research on software development was based on the repair of the AS / RS platform, already present in the laboratory of the IMST faculty. To accomplish this, we have rebuilt the entire electrical part of the platform and we reorganized the entire control panel. For the command side, a C++ - based application was created to automatically control the whole assembly without the help of a human operator, this application is run on an Arduino development board, but it can be changed with a PLC - based control system in any moment.
