The purpose of this study is to create a force feedback system for a 3D printed hand. These prostheses are highly recommended for children because it is cheap, easy to assemble, and if any part of the prosthesis gets damaged, its replacement is easy and inexpensive. Currently, those using this type of 3D prostheses do not receive feedback related to the applied force, this leading to difficulties in objects manipulation. This is the principal cause of children refusing to wear the prosthesis. Therefore, the study is focused on creating a force feedback system containing accessible components, as cheap as possible and using recycled materials.
