Designing food packaging for fragile and perishable products, such as eggs, has been a "major challenge" for designers and packaging manufacturers. This is due to the continuing need to find a type of packaging that simultaneously fulfills a multitude of conditions imposed by everyone involved in the production, transport, sale and consumption of packaged products. The difficulties encountered by the customer in the final assembly of the required packaging have led the packaging manufacturer to carry out the structural redesign of this type of packaging in order to make the construction and its use more efficient.
