The main purpose of the paper is to define a general framework for introducing specific elements within the Content Center library from the Autodesk Inventor software. The main purpose of the paper is to define a general framework for introducing specific elements within the Content Center library from the Autodesk Inventor software. The target products – guide bush, guide column, die holder, punch holder – were geometrically and dimensionally analyzed, designed and transformed into parts families, and then inserted into the software library. The presented case study refers to the guide bush.
