Optimizarea structurilor lattice pentru piese de revoluție prin SLM

Because of the competitivity of the production industry, there is a search for parts that can be made in a shorter time and with minimum resources. One of the solutions that can resolve this problem is the usage of lattice structures in the finished product. This process is realised by the additive manufacturing industry. The usage of these structures decreases the part’s weight but also its cost, because less material is used. This paper proposes the application of different lattice structures on a flange-bearing, in order to decrease its weight, yet keeping its originial form and resistence. The novelties brought by this paper are: Design of different lattice structures and applying those structures to a part; Realising external and internal lattice structures. The purpose of this paper is the design of interior and exterior lattice structures for a flange-bearing in order to decrease its weight and to keep its structure.
