    Research regarding 3D printing using electroconductive graphite filament.

    Conductive 3D printing is a unique manufacturing method that offers a high degree of freedom for the customization of the final product. This technology provides a new, cheaper and faster way of incorporating electrical components into different devices, such as parts of circuit boards, or developing prototypes for electronic applications, including, Internet of Things projects. This innovation could allow the creation of 3D printed devices varying from touch sensors to bigger projects in soft robotics, electronics and communication devices such as Near Field Communication antennas. The most used printing method is FDM with conductive graphene ABS or PLA filaments and hydroprintingg conductive patterns using silver NPs. By being a new and underdeveloped area of additive manufacturing, not many methods or materials are available for general testing or usage.
