    The paper deals with aspects on experiments with micro-electrical discharge machining (μEDM) with and without ultrasonic assistance (US) of the advanced alloy TiAl6V4. A computerized model was developed with the finite element method to study the removal mechanism of the material for both technological variants. The results obtained from the model were compared with the experimental ones which allowed to create the computerized models and helped optimize the process and explain some specific phenomenon that occur at the microprocessing of this material.
