The paper is an assessment of the risk of illness of a welding worker exposed to the working conditions in the welding laboratories of the Faculty of Industrial and Robotic Engineering at Polytechnic University of Bucharest, in the foreground being the Bohler welding laboratory. (Cf 009). The project involves the effective analysis of the welding process MIG/MAG(Metal-InertGas) / (Metal Active Gas) as well as the factors by which the welder is affected when performing works in this environment. The case study concerns this laboratory with all its current equipment and recommendations for improving the equipment so that its workers have the risk of injury and occupational disease. At the same time, tables were drawn up with measures proposed for the improvement of the spaces with equipment. The INCDPM method allows the analysis of risk factors and the determination of the risk level. The images in the paper illustrate the current situation of all laboratories part of the ICTI department within the faculty, with the related measures that should be adopted.
