The present paper proposes a modelling and simulation approach that is applicable to transient structural simulations for paletizing robots, taking into account their end-effector and operating conditions. To lower the computational demands of the model, a mesh generation strategy is described. The results achieved by the simulations emphasize the structural behavior of the robot when carring out a working cycle, in terms of stress and displacement. The approach can be furtherly used for examining the rigidity of the arms or for developing optimization studies
