Optimization and technological validation of turning operations from process by simulation CAM with the HSM module of Autodesk Inventor

This paper presents an example of the use of the High Speed Machining module of the Autodesk Inventor program for the optimization and technological validation of several variants of processing schemes for two turning operations performed on CNC lathe. The CAM simulation determined the optimal variants for removing the processing additions in operations. For the technological validation of optimal variants of processing schemes were used in the simulation of the CAM the 3D geometric models of the machine and equipment for catching the part in operations.
