Analysis and development of the Dacia dashboard

The current paper proposes a modernization of the instrument panel for Dacia cars. The proposed modernization contributes to a much better integration of current and future functions, given the growing expectations of customers, who are always looking for improvements, appreciate the customization option. The transition to electric models makes it necessary to redesign the instrument panel, an area that has been changed very little in almost two decades. The solution proposes to replace the current instrument panel, with the default shape and functions, non-configurable, with a TFT LCD display panel on which all the displayed elements can be configured, on request. The research presents the direct solutions which can be applied to achieve, with a minimum of modifications, the change of the instrument panel and highlighting the advantages generated by the new variant
