This paper presents the objectives of the dissertation, what was realized by now. The concepts are evaluated and one of them is selected. In the detailed design, it beggins the calculation in terms of functionality (required motor power, current intensity required to heat the wire to a set temperature, forces inside the wire, speed calculation).The methodology for establishing the processing parameters (feed rate, temperature) is presented.
