The purpose of the study is to observe the differences in the modeling of a beam with two finite elements from the Ansys software library, namely Beam 188 and Solid185. For this purpose, an analytical calculation was performed, and the results of this calculation were compared with the results obtained from the finite element analyzes. Subsequently, the errors introduced by each finite element were followed in order to see their efficiency and to be able to easily outline the advantages and disadvantages of modeling with Beam and Solid, respectively
