This paper provides information and analysis about a possible method of automation of a grain sampling probe system and future perspectives. The automation of this system is based on principles such as image acquisition, image processing algorithms, control/command of a mechanical arm. The automation of this type of system will have the benefit of saving the time necessary for an operator to control it, in order to support this statement, a simulation of an agricultural base was performed according to certain situations.
