This paper presents a new and innovative industrial product for the micro-electrochemical machining sector. It represents a feed system for the tool electrode with the possibility of moving on the vertical axis with a minimum value of Δ = 0,2 µm. This value was gathered after extensive search in the industry, to find it’s main demands for precision micromachining, and also by analyzing the current state of this sector along with a few competitors. This product addresses small enterprises specialized in the micromachining domain who use these technologies to produce special pieces for the most demanding industries, including aerospace, military, medical and so on. This sector is a very competitive one, because often times these small companies sell their products to bigger companies who need those pieces, like the airplane makers, who often externalize such production. This is why products like the one presented in this paper are very important for these small businesses, who have to meet expectations but also keep the costs to a minimum.
