Aceasta lucrare are ca scop prezentarea conceptului de depozitare si aplicarea acestuia in domeniul horticulturii. Depozitul reprezinta locatia unde marfurile sunt transportate in timp si nu in spatiu. Printre principalele functii ale depozitelor se regasesc functiile de primire a produselor, de depozitare/pastrare a produselor, de comisionare si de expediere a produselor.
