Refrigerating devices are a necessity for humanity, for maintaining food quality and providing technical conditions for mass productions. This devices must meet the following conditions: conserve energy, protect environment and be compact. In this research we try to analyze those aspects, based on theoretical researches and practical realizations of the collaborating authors. For this purpose, we present the algorithm after which we create a refrigerating device with an unconventional cooling system, but with a classic look that can be powered from a direct current (DC) as well as too a renewable energy source. It have is it's composition a cold storage system for periods in which it's not connected to an energy source.
