ANALYSIS OF THE BEHAVIOUR OF MODULAR WOODEN PANELS DURING A DROP TEST USING EXPLICIT DYNAMICS

The research comprises a modular wooden frame composed of planks, modeled and analyzed in ANSYS. The structure was subjected to a drop test from the height of 2m and an inclination angle of 150. The simulation was performed employing the Finite Element Method in an Explicit dynamics approach, on a model with a highly controlled mesh and advanced computation settings.
