For this research I wanted to understand the principle of operation of RFID readers and how exactly they allow access to buildings. Thus, with the help of electronic components (an RFID module, compatible with Arduino and other development boards, a 13.56MHz RFID card and a 13.56MHz RFID keychain) I made an installation similar to intercoms that allow access in the building. The mechanism for allowing access is an SG90 type servomotor with 360º rotation, which transmits the message to the Arduino board when the module recognizes the UID of the keychain, and this in turn makes the axis of the servomotor rotate 180º. At the same time, in order to prove that the access is made only after identifying a certain UID stored in the Arduino board database, I used a card whose access is not allowed because its UID is not recognized.
