The grippers are mechatronic systems used in industrial robots with the purpose of performing certain operations in technological processes. These operations can include: grabbing pieces for further manipulation, the transfer of an object or the assembly in a technological, robotized process. In this paper it will be discussed in more details the making of the prehensive system. The gripper will be used by an industrial robot with six degrees of freedom. It will also be taken into consideration the maximum load capacity, the workspace, the gauge and the possibilities of assembly.
