Invictus Team Romania is a project which have started in 2017 and have been held in Canada, Toronto. With the help of the Invictus volunteers, NGOs or other foundations, many people have donated time and money to this project, the Steaua Bucharest Sports Club, the Ministry of National Defense and the Chief of the General Staff, a number of 32 veterans of war have started this journey earlier this year and they have been intensely trained. At this first edition, Romania was invited to attend with only 15 military athletes, while other athletes have continued their training in the country. We have started this scientific research on technological innovation in biomaterials and biomechanics, which has a result of design and optimizing sports prostheses for military (fig.1.) and other athletes who have transtibial amputations, with the aim of optimizing the transtibial prosthesis for tennis, which does not exist at this time from our point of view.
