Cutting-edge materials in aerospace industry

In this day and age, Innovation and Sustainability seem to have become the leading terms to be taken into account before starting any project meant to be brought on the market. Transport industry, and especially Aerospace field, experience the challenge of coming up with solutions and alternatives that can strike a balance between efficiency and eco-friendliness. The present paper aims at highlighting such trials and new approaches mostly based on Biomimicry or natural structures which have proved impressively effective. It spotlights different types of materials which are at their very beginning, but sooner or later, they may become widely used in the aerospace industry.
