Research about making a portable equipment for electrical discharge machining with contact breaking

The paper deals with the design, modeling and achievement of a portable electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment with contact breaking that is used in the process of material removal by electrical discharges. The results from finite element modeling of designed actuating coil agreed with the real working of EDM head. The stages of making the equipment are presented as well as its testing and obtained experimental data.
